What is a Plasma TV?
Although you may think Plasma TV technology is a recent phenomenon, the science has been around since 1960, and the first plasma display prototype appeared back in 1964.
Plasma TV screens, as the name suggests, use a matrix of tiny gas plasma bubbles coated by phosphor and charged by precise electrical voltages to create a picture. Plasma technology operates on the premise that each subpixel within a plasma display is a microscopic fluorescent lamp that emits one of the primary colors (red, green or blue).
Plasma TV screens can create a multitude of tints by varying the intensity of the light from these three subpixels. When it’s time to display an image signal (RGB or video), a digitally controlled electric current flows through the flat screen, causing the plasma inside designated bubbles to give off ultraviolet rays. This light in turn causes the phosphor coatings to glow the appropriate color. The millions of RGB bubbles glowing and dimming combine to make a rich, vivid image. Because the light emitted by |
the plasma is ultraviolet radiation, which is invisible to humans, it must be changed into a visible form of energy. To achieve this transformation, the walls of the plasma tube are coated with a UV-sensitive powder that emits white light. This powder, often called a phosphor, is known as a scintillator - a material that converts one type of radiation to another. CRTs also contain scintillator that converts the electron beams into visible red, green or blue light.

ALLTV SERVICES
Our qualified repair technicians can perform troubleshooting as well as repairing of many components. We are located in Santa Clara, Silicon Valley, California. We service all major makes and models.
Whenever possible we try to repair a part before replacing it. The landed cost to you is much less than what a manufacturer charges for a replacement part.
DIAGNOSIS
Diagnosis of your media is FREE if the repair is authorized after successful diagnosis.
A $69.99 charge will apply to the customers that choose to not repair their device after a successful diagnosis.
ALLTV REPAIR RATES
We offer competitive prices for all of our services. Depending on the problem, the repair cost can range anywhere from $75 to $175 (labor + parts).
If the part costs $69.99 or less we will go ahead and replace it while the device is under repair. We will contact you if the cost of the part exceeds $70. Otherwise the device will be repaired and you will be charged based on the repair costs of your device.
RUSH SERVICE
By choosing the rush service, your device will be fixed and returned to you in 1 to 2 business days, at the cost of an additional $90. May not be possible in some cases.
SHIPPING CHARGES
We charge $20 for return shipping via UPS (ground). Weight limits may apply.
INSURANCE
We offer up to $1000 insurance on your device at no cost to you when shipping, additional insurance can also be purchased. Please ask our representative for more details.
LOCAL PICK AND DROP
For the convenience of our customers, we offer pickup and drop service to the customers who are located in the Silicon Valley are based in the Santa Clara area. Please ask our representative for more details.

WARRANTY
We guarantee the repaired device for 3 months from the original date of repair. Pick-up and delivery charges may apply.
Limitation of Liability: In no event E-Tech AllTV© be liable for any loss of user data, use, revenue or anticipatory profits, or for any direct or consequential damages arising out of or connected with service, sales or operation. By submitting this work order you agree to pay any diagnosis charges associated with this work order. We are not responsible for any unknown problems with the equipment, other then what is being described by you at the time of submission of this work order, before or after repair. |
